We will contract to receive your surplus for a defined term, usually a year. Contract details are based on your needs and surplus stream. We will provide you with a convenient, fast, and secure service that allows you to focus on your core business.

The timeline

Real World Scenario

ABC, Inc. operates a manufacturing facility which is creating a constant flow of surplus material including obsolete spare parts, left over new parts for production, cardboard scrap, and occasionally obsolete or broken equipment.

ABC, Inc.’s priority is to maintain available warehouse space for their operations, and they would like to clean twice a month to remove all surplus.

We meet with ABC, Inc. and propose a plan that will have us providing a trailer box free of charge and switching it out every two weeks so that ABC, Inc. can recover warehouse space.

We agree to on prices based on categories and send ABC, Inc. a report of each load we receive along with payment within 72 hours of receiving the trailer at our facility.

ABC, Inc. now has a clearer facility, no headaches and a check coming in automatically twice a month.


scrap plus

We give you a baseline for your scrap equipment and add a bonus for any value adding components in the equipment. We do the work and pass on part of that additional recovery to you.

The timeline

  1. We review your material, either in pictures or in person

  2. In most cases, a bid is made within 24 hours

  3. The equipment is weighed at a truck scale or immediately on arrival at our facility

  4. Payment and report are ready within 48 hours

Real World Scenario

Paul has a full trailer of obsolete equipment and has received only scrap bids. Diversified Recycling conducts a site visit and after analysis, offers the same scrap price +$2,000 bonus for parts. Paul recovers an additional $2,000 without having to do any extra work himself.

Consignment

We sell your inventory for you, with no up-front cost. We receive, inventory, process, and market your surplus; when it sells, we ship your order. We split the proceeds from the sale with you 50/50.

The timeline

  1. We receive your material, either in pictures or in person

  2. Within 48 hours we present you a consignment agreement

  3. Once the agreement is agreed to and signed, we pick up your material

  4. We prepare listings and pricings for your approval

  5. We list your surplus on all sales channels for 1 year

  6. When there is a sale, we automatically send you a check or ACH within 30 days.

Real World Scenario

Sarah is a busy person with some valuable assets being underutilized. She has tried to sell them herself but has received unsatisfactory offers that do not reflect the value of her assets.

She hears about Diversified Recycling and asks for a consignment proposal. Sarah signs the consignment agreement with Diversified Recycling and has her assets picked up, immediately recovering space in her facility.

Over the next year, Diversified Recycling uses its sales channels to sell Sarah’s equipment and parts at the highest price possible.

We make a direct bid for your surplus based on our analysis of resale potential. You get an immediate recovery from your assets and make space for other products or activities.

  2. In most cases, a bid is made within 24 hours

  3. If the bid is accepted, we will immediately arrange for pickup

  4. Payment is delivered to you when we pick up your surplus

Manny hears about Diversified Recycling and gives us a ring. Diversified Recycling conducts a site visit and submits a bid of $7500 for the excess material.

certificate of destruction

 

We receive your equipment, render it inoperable, while documenting the procedure from start to finish and reporting to you how much recovery each asset returns, and certifying its destruction.

The timeline

  1. We review your material, either in pictures or in person

  2. Within 24 hours we present you with a bid and a timeline

  3. If the bid is accepted, we will immediately arrange for pickup

  4. Equipment is received, weighed, and pictured on arrival to our facility

  5. Asset tags and other identifiers are noted

  6. Nonproprietary motors, controls, and parts are separated from equipment and additional pictures are taken

  7. We issue a certificate of destruction including the images of the process, weights, and asset tags along with your recovery payment.

Real World Scenario

Jeff has some equipment that is no longer used in production, but it includes proprietary technology Jeff wants to protect.

Diversified Recycling visits and makes a proposal and bid for the removal and certified destruction of the equipment. Jeff accepts the bid, and the equipment is picked up rendered non-functional by Diversified Recycling.

A Certificate of Destruction is issued to Jeff, ensuring that his proprietary technology remains confidential.
